The King of Salem, Melchitzedek and Shem are all one in the same.

I don't know the answer to your question but one thing you do need to take in consideration, the entire genealogy recorded in Genesis 11 does not include any deaths, so its true Shem's death is not recorded but neither is any of his descendants all the way to Abram.

I personally do not think Melchizedek was Shem.
