Name him or her after a character from a movie/book that you love. Or from a favorite city. Or a favorite food! Some examples: My cats are Mocha and Java because we've got a coffee obsession. My brothers cat is Gryffindor (Gryf for short) from Harry Potter. My in laws have dogs named Vegas and Reno!

I'm a traditionalist... it's gotta be Snoopy!

Though Cooper is a good name, since my boy's good friend is a beagle named Cooper.

I think with some time and interaction you'll find your pup's personality and a name will come to you that will match it.
