The only way to successfully remove stretch marks is by cutting them out - this is generally a good option to those who were overweight and want a tummy tuck, the tuck itself gets rid of the majority of stretch marks. This procedure will, however, leave a scar.

For someone who is slender the only real option is to wait for them to fade naturally, they will still be there but just a lot less noticable.

Laser treatments can cause increased pigmentation to develop (which can look as bad as the stretch marks themselves!) and they can also cause scarring.

She should just keep moisturising to keep the skin soft and supple but there is little one can do to change the skin's natural elasticity I'm afraid.

when I was skinny several years ago, I had stretch marks too, never knew why, I thought it was because I grew from a normal size 8 yr old, to a 10 yr old that was 5'6". I figured I just grew up faster than my skin could really stretch to fit it.

She can try some stretch mark reducing cream, Avon sells some that really does lighten the marks. No cream will remove them, but the color can be reduced.

It sure didn't stop me from finding boyfriends.

I had the same problem. i thought there was sumthin wrong with me, cause im definatly NOT fat. I researched it on the comp, some teens will develop stretch marks. also stress will make them develop. if they are not a whitish color yet, then i would use Palmers Lotion for Stretch Marks. it worked really really good for me. unfortuatly there is NO way to get rid of the completly. she will still have some white marks, but Makeup works great. good luck and God Bless!!

She grew fast and that is what stretched her out. They have laser treatments. All the creams whatever are junk from what I have read. You need to use the laser to break down the scarring of the stretch marks.

Have her talk to a dermatologist.

Heh, after I had kids (and I didn't get fat) I got stretch marks everywhere. If she's a model she should be able to afford cosmetic laser treatments.

To prevent stretch marks and scars effectively use cocoa butter or a mixture of olive oil and herbs. You can find more cheap and natural remedies for stretch marks and scars at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/stretchmarks.html
