I'm on a new diet that calls for drinking 10 big glasses of water a day with lemon juice; question: what is the difference in, say, drinking all of it in a 3 hour period and drinking through out the day?

The amount of time you spend in the bathroom. Drinking it in a 3 hours period is forcing your system to flush out. You will spend the next hour or so in the bathroom because your body can only hold so much water. Spead it out over the day so you give your body a chance to clense the right way.

Water poisoning? Your can dilute your electrolytes drinking too much water in a short period.

The purpose of 10 large glasses of water is to fill you up throughout the day.
