If someone breaks up with you, you have no obligations to that person at all. You do not have to tell that person anything. You might want to tell your date that the person you were last dating might be at the party, but even that is up to you.

depends on how long yall had dated I guess but personally no. There should be at least a 4 week grace period unless the girl is a complete friend and your ex knows that. good luck..
