My boyfriend of 3 years was messaging a girl that he use to like saying " I'm fine, did you ever get your jacket? I think about you all the time"
why would he have her jacket and he has been out of town alot.

It does sound suspicious but don't accuse him of it until you have hard evidence that he is cheating. Do your research. Do it all when he is asleep. Look for reciepts, numbers, text messages, but it all has to be hard evidence ( meaning if you find a reciept that he said he grabbed lunch one day by himself, but the total on the reciept said $55.00. That shows that more than one person was eating.) If you see a text message and it says did you find your jacket than that could mean she was just having conversation with him saying I lost my jacket, but if the message says i can't believe i/you left your jacket over MY place...see the difference. If he has been going two rounds and now he is on a permanent one and you haven't noticed that you are sharing his d**k with something hot, then you gave him the chance. Probably your supposed oversight or outright foolishness must have been the reason why he is still keeping you as a girlfriend.
Get "Cheaters" on him immediately!

Love is about trust. If u start questioning, it can go away. So whatever is there, just make something special with him (xmas in a different country or something, so he remembers he feels best with u ;)...) Everything is gonna be great, if u act wisely

i dont know but if you have doubts you need to talk to him just ask why he is even talking to her and what is going on with him if he is cheating he will get mad and not want to talk about it good luck
