Make him some snacks and walk around in something skimpy. Let the man watch the game and you can get off on being his personal Hooters waitress. Works for me.

Does a man have to devote every single day to you whiney woman? We have a life too. Does he bytch cause you curl your hair or go get your nails done. Add up all the time you spend getting ready that he waits for you and I guarentee it wouldn't compare to how little time he spends watching a football game every Sunday. Would you rather he be out hitting on woman. Be thankful. And let a man live his life. Needy broad

i would certainly advise leaving him be on this issue, obviously he really enjoys football much more than you do so a few options come to mind that would allow you to eliminate the negative energy and spend at least as much energy in a positive fashion.
you could quit trying to stop the activity and try to make it more enjoyable for him through the tummy
you could learn more about this sport that seems to be ruining your Sundays
or you could use the time he spends watching his games to get errands done go shopping join a club well anything YOU enjoy
Good luck to both of you Tom AL USA

You need to find a hobby too. Go shopping or hang with the "girls" somewhere.
I'll sit with your bf and watch football if you want. I love football!

Ummm...grow up and realize you cannot always be the center of attention? Maybe watch it with him sometimes (without griping, nagging, and complaining)...it will make him like you more and good grief, it is just a few months. If you can't handle not being the center of attention all the time, you don't need a boyfriend.

Well considering that he like footbal, why not try to sit and watch it with him then go out and do something that you like? talk to him and come to an agreement on it, there should be equality in your relationship and he should give back to you what you give to him...get it in his head...

You can't. Or if you can, it won't be a permanent change. You can either live with it or you can't.
Personally, I couldn't handle it, not when kids are involved or all activities have to be planned around his butt being attached to a seat in front of a tv.
