There's nothing wrong with taking a day off from thinking about things. Focus on the small details of the day and leave all the big worries until "tomorrow." It sounds as if you may be suffering from depression which can be emotional or physical. You might want to check with your doctor. And live just a day at a time.

This time try to have a different long break and relax your mind and soul, try some simple mind exercises, games that would take your mind off the things that are worrying you out. Enjoy on spas, taking pilates or yoga. If those activities are too mild, try something more involve emotions, try kickboxing, taebo and other extreme but safe, managable sports. Involve and indulge in things you enjoy doing most. If you are too stressed out, go on a roller coaster ride and scream your lungs out off the things that is bothering you. Other than that, for a continuous 3 days duration, write out on several paper how you feel on your problems, basically write your emotions out, doesn't matter if the writing is ugly, bearing in mind you are letting them out. It will somehow release you off the stress. Then when you are back on track, plan yourself, it's all about planning, write down things and put them in tables and illustrations according to sequence, it would help a lot as to remember them in a more organised and systematic way. Tick off each task in the tables of the list that you have prepared just as when you have completed them. You would feel a huge burden being lift off as you have been responsible for it. Do have enough sleep, drink a lot of plain water. Good luck!
