The thing is that I don't know him. We would see each other in the hallways and always take a glance at at one another. This recently just started! He is the type that I thought that would NEVER be interested in me. My friend says that I should go up to him and say something, but I always thought that would be awkward for me and especially a boy who doesn't know me. But all the looking at one another and for another, it makes me wonder! I don't want to make an *** out of myself! I hear that I should take a risk, but I am a bit shy and I guess he is too. Help me please!!!!

Just talk to him. If you never do, then nothing can happen. Ask him a question. Anything. Walk up and say, "Hi, my name is ....., what's yours (even if you know it). Can you tell me where ...... is? Do you know ......?" Just find anything to talk to him about. I know it's scary, but you have to be brave.

I've had this problem once before myself. I've found that not rushing into things works well. Just walk up to him and start a gradual converstation. Ask him questions. If he has classes with you ask him what the homework was, or about a specific date that something is due. Introduce yourself. "Hey i'm *********." Then start talking. End the convo with hopefully i'll see/talk to you later. Don't be shy. Take the chances. Don't wait until later. It might be too late later. He seems interested in you so.... you've got a good shot. Talk to him and get to know him. That is the best way that way you get closer and you get to know him. Then after he gets to know you and you get to know him and he trusts you. That is when you sit him down and talk to him about more than friends. do it because you never know what will happen you might regret it if you don't. I used to be shy but I just went up and started talking to my crush, but I was a fish and he was a senior and had a gf, so it didn't work out. GOOD LUCK!!

i would definalty go up to him he maybe shy and its almost 2007 girl if it makes u feel any better thats how me and my bf of 3 years got together i apporached him cuz he was shy i say go for it girl and you will thank me later =) good luck and dont worry he wont bite lol

go ahead and talk to him. be subtle about your feelings for him and jes try to be freinds first. if you click he will probably ask you out so jes be patient.
