I like the music...Christmas is a great holiday. I hope we never become a Christian nation though - what would be the point? so we can have all the school boards reject text on evolution? Outlaw abortion? Bah.
But, yeah, the music and the lights are great this time of year. They fill even the most hardened curmudgeon with a tiny bit of hope that...well...basically that the days will get longer and spring will eventually arrive.

It is wonderful.
Unfortunately, America will probably never become a Christian nation again. Especially when they rewrite the history books to say that America wasn't founded on Christian principles. Whatever.

nicely, in my opinion, mainstream song decrease back then grow to be, by employing and massive, only heads and shoulders above what i'm listening to from the present era. are not getting me incorrect: i'm no longer suggesting that there wasn't lots of mediocre and tremendously forgettable crap decrease back then, nor am I making a blanket fact approximately each present day suitable 40 artist - I do comprehend i'm portray with huge strokes here. yet as a commonplace rule, i might say that pop song in the final 15 to 2 many years has grow to be borderline unlistenable at maximum suitable. or perhaps mediocre artists in those days a minimum of did issues like sing (devoid of technological counsel, we would desire to assert) and/or play gadgets. it particularly is extra effective than would be mentioned a pair of style of human beings at present - i'm going to refrain from disclosing names.

Music is beautiful. But I keep hearing " I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" One of the few Christmas songs I find annoying. But as for the rest, I enjoy it for its art. You don't have to be a Christian, or even a believer for that.

I can't stand Christmas music. I don't see why every pop idol has to remake every Christmas song in existance. If they would write a NEW Christmas song every year I wouldn't mind it. The only Christmas song I like is "Yellin' at the Christmas Tree" by Billy Idol. Listen to it sometime. It's hilarious.
I don't like Christmas in general either. It's supposed to be a sacred religious holiday but instead it's a day of commercialism and greed. Bah Humbug!

Yeah, I'm a screaming liberal who loves Christian Holiday Music. (As long as it's not Bette Midler, who kind of gets carried away, IMHO)
Hahah, the "christian nation" line is funny tho. Here! Have a history book! Or two! USA wasn't founded as a christian nation dear.

I think they should play Christian music year round. We have a restaurant here that ONLY plays Christian music. I love to go in there and eat..There is nothing better when you are having a crappy day than to go in a store or place that plays uplifting music.

thats funny, cause christmas is derived from the pagan holliday, and most christian traditions are derived from pagan traditions. ...
by the way america was NEVER a christian nation. the nation was founded on free-religion. many people left their homeland because of religious persecution, seeking freedom from it. many of the founding fathers were actually free-mason, not christian.

Another reason to boycott the mall. You and the rest of bovine America are wholly tiresome. Tell me how joyful you feel when all those credit card statements come rolling in...
