Why do Muslims hate the western hemisphere so much?

I know all muslims are not radical but those who believe in Jihad, why do they hate the western hemisphere and the rest of europe so much?

It is their religious belief. Their written teachings, the example of Mohammed and most of their religious teachers today believe that the laws of the Qu'ran MUST be accepted by ALL people of the world. Those who follow another form of government are enemies.

First of I am British and therefore European also, born and breed. I'm a Muslim and i don't hate the western hemisphere at all. Why would i its my home my land and my heritage. Jihad means struggle not necessarily "holy war" so what if i believe Jihad means "struggle to live out the Muslim faith as true as possible" does that mean i hate the western hemisphere? No. So i think you will have to be more specific with your question before you can get a more specific answer.

let us look back what the western had done to Muslims for these past few years...
how can some of the muslims dislike the wastern?
it is not about the religion, but it's about the terrorizing that the western had done to the muslim.
we all can still live harmony if there is no terrorozing...(muslim and western)
even the quran didn't forbid us from being violent to other people with different religion (depending on the situation).

jihad is to strive/ make effort in the way of Allah.
and it is not 'the holy war'. it's totally foreign and not from Islam.

I am currently living in the south east, I believe in Jihad, in that a muslim must strive for the sake of Allah, and personally i do not hate the western hemisphere at all. Jihad is not about killing infidels, and right about now i am doing jihad, which is to fight my earthly desires for the sake of Allah and to attain his love and mercy. It is not the westerners that i hate, it is the way of life and culture that i hate most, which is against most of the rules in the Quran and Islam.

I am a western living Muslim.I do not hate the western hemisphere.What i a have a problem with is the governments of the western hemisphere going on illegal wars to Muslim countries for oil,drugs and wealth.Which is completely unjustifiable.

The most recent "reason" is the fact that the West basically created the nation of Israel shortly after WW2, taking the land away from the muslims living there. We deposited all the Jews that the Europeans didn't want back to their "homeland".

And then we gave Israel big guns to defend the new turf that we stole for them. And they've been kicking the asses of the local muslims ever since.

Where you get true believers of one kind or another, and another set of true believers of a different stripe, then people who don't believe in any of the "true" faiths, you will get division.

Where you get division, you can get war and hatred. Every side believing wholly and sincerely that they are in the right. Get a bunch of rabid fanatics (Christian or Muslim for example) and you will get a fast track to extremism, hate and war. Stupid, narrow, ******* idiotic, but it's true.

Now there appears to be an almost Christian agenda against some Muslim states, probably fueled by greed. In return there is a religious agenda pushed in part by the desire to spread Islam (survival instinct), and the desire to fight back and fight in some cases for freedom from "oppression". One man's terrorist is often another's freedom fighter. Nothing I've said or attempted to explain excuses cowardly attacks by any side in the name of their God however. If any God wished people to die, he would not need the intervention of man to do it. If there was a God.

It's all points of view. Sadly the viewpoints and beliefs are dangerously incompatible when led by fundementalists of any stripe. These minority are a true danger-From all sides!

no, muslims do not hate western hemisphere ...i have brother and sisters working in western countries..they dont seem to be having much problem...

Jihad means to struggle and everyone is doing Jihad now a days.. Even Bush is also doing Jihad to save poltical career.. Everyone is doind jihad...

The west has a long history of using them and stealing their resources, but the main reason is that they cannot shut the influences of the west out of their societies and seem determined that if we can't be excluded, we must some how be changed to what they believe or be eliminated. I hope they realize we will resist, vigorously.
