There are definitely some beautiful venues in Vegas, and they have all the amenities to put on a fantastic wedding. But, it's Vegas. Every time I'm walking through the lobby of the Wynn or the Bellagio drunk at 11am in flip flops and trunks and I see a really elegant wedding party, I think to myself no matter how much they paid for everything else, the fact that I'm walking by in this state makes their wedding cheap and sleazy.

Yes I was married in Vegas. Let me set up the scene for you. You wait in a looooooooooong line (other couples waiting to marry). Your ceremony is perhaps 15 minutes long. Then you're out. Next in line!!!!!!!!!!! It was like getting married at a McDonald's to me. In fact they do have drive thru weddings. Those chapels are all over the strip. Would I do it again ? Never. It wasn't special. You feel like your in a cattle herd. Now honeymooning in Vegas is awesome, just not getting married there.

My wife and I got married in Vegas at the Shalomar wedding chapel on the Strip. It made perfect sense to use because we were already going to Vegas on vacation and the city was centrally located to many of friends who wished to attend the service. We all met in Vegas and a wonderful time was had by all. We plan to renew our vows in Vegas on our upcoming 10Th anniversary.

I'm not getting married in Vegas, but we are honeymooning there. My fiance and I have a large family that we really want to be a part of our wedding day, so Vegas was out for us. But we considered it, I think it would be a lot of fun!!!!

Nope i had a wedding in our hometown. I would do vegas though, all the stress with planning and paying for the wedding was too much of a headache, besides with the amount of money we spent on a party for one day, we coulda bought a house.

I would if my family could be there to see it. Vegas is a great city to get married in.

No, I wouldn't. I have a large family and I wanted them all to be there and that wouldn't happen if the wedding was in Vegas.

no i don't think i would and if i did it would be because when i get home I'm planning on a big weeding in my backyard or something . i don't think the Vegas weeding is very creative its just a lazy way of getting married then wasted a weeding is usually a 1 time thing i would make a more memorable event ..

a year or two ago, i was watching this reality tv type show with Leah Remini on VH1. she got married in Vegas and the wedding was gorgeous! if i got married there, i'd just choose one of the prettier, more elegant wedding halls or hotels to get married at as opposed to one of those cheesy as* chapels.
