After all Satanism doesn't say there is an actual devil. Which is better and why?

Hey Iblis,

Honestly, what I would do is begin your individual search with an assertion of atheism. It's clear your central issue - that of the existence of Deity - is a resounding negative, so no matter which philosophy you choose to give shape to that atheism, it's best that you root yourself in your understanding of why you don't believe in God.

Should you choose to move on to adopt Satanism, Marxism, or another viewpoint, you will at least have grounded yourself in the baseline ideology. Once you have done that (or if you have done that already), I would encourage you to seriously examine Satanism as a path. It has acted as a reliable catalyst of self-exploration in my own life.

Take care,

Laz

Satanism isn't really a religion at all as much as a philosophy, somewhat akin to objectivism and libertarianism. I'd suggest, if you want to follow it, you do some research on the subject. It's somewhat megalomaniacal and self involved, but a lot of it is more misconstrued by the public than actually evil. Personally I think it's somewhat of a tiresome way to live, but to each their own.
This all is assuming you're talking about Anton LaVey's brand of satanism. Real satanism, the actual following of satan rather than using satan as an image of the world, is way different and I'm not even sure there IS an organized religion behind it.

To clean up some incorrect information: no count what Laveyans call themselves, they are no longer Satanists. If somebody mentioned, "i do no longer think in God yet i'm Christian," it would not make any experience. It would not make any experience with Satanism the two. i'm a ordinary Satanist. i do no longer "have self belief in" God yet I nicely known his existence. I continually love how people who desire they have been Satanists shrink back from the term devil worshipper. stupid human beings. Oh, yea... And the exhilaration of devil (reported by employing Frau Hunter) isn't a Satanist team. they seem to be a Nazi cult. genuinely, they have self belief that devil is an alien that only likes white human beings. appears like racist scientology to me. in case you p.c. to appreciate approximately genuine Satanism, seem up the Cathedral of the Black Goat. purchase Father Myrmydon's e book, the devil's Bible. supply up perplexing atheists and Nazis with Satanists.

Satanism in whatever form is still a mythological, superstious, fairy-tale belief that has no evidence of any kind for its beliefs.

Atheism or true agnosticism are the only logically defensible ways of approaching beliefs.

Im an Atheist, but Id say for many its Satanism. It sends a message of self-confidence and careful diplomacy. It teaches respect, but also warns of being too naive. Its a strong philosophy, and one that every non-deist should consider.

I am confused. In the satanic bible, it doesnt say that there is no god. It just says that he doesnt care about us enough to intervene. I dont see how you could be weighing these two options. Either you believe in religion or you think it is fake.

Reading some of your responses on other posts you should choose Satanism as this is clearly who you follow.
