Get out the vinegar. Mix white vinegar with 50/50 mix of water.
This will get the smell out. You will not notice a smell once the area has dried.

The bad smell in urine is caused by ammonia, a naturally stinky molecule. To eliminate a smell, you have to BUST UP the molecule that carries the smell. If you spray Febreeze, or any other deoderant product, you will only be adding another smell to the ammonia smell - you won't eliminate the odor.
There is a new product called Pure Ayre that chemically breaks apart the bonds of naturally occurring odor molecules. Unlike Nature's Miracle, it is so safe you can spay it ON THE PET if you ever need to. It is environmentally safe, and safe for pets and people.
Pure Ayre KILLS the smell. I have used it for dog barf, feces, urine, cat box smells, and my son's stinky shoes! You can even get cigarette smell out of a car or motel room. I can't recommend it highly enough. Vets and groomers recommend it. Please go to the website. Every pet owner should have a big bottle of Pure Ayre. (And BTW I don't have anything to do with the company, it is just a great product.)
Good luck!

You need to use a cleaner that is specifically for dog stains that includes something to breakdown enzymes. If you just use everyday household cleaners and think it's clean because you don't see the stain or smell the odor..the dog will be lured back to re-stain the area. There are different brands to chose from I used to use Nature's Miracle but have switched to using Orange TKO which is an all purpose cleaner with the proteins to clean pet stains and is made of oranges so I don't worry if my dogs lick the area just cleaned and it's a pleasant odor.

Try Nature's Miracle, available in pet supply stores. Males spray large areas to mark territory, so you probably need to clean the surfaces of the door, the washer and the freezer as well. Don't forget to clean underneath the appliances. If you miss any areas that were hit, the odor will remain. Good luck!

Get Febreze for Pets or go to the febreze aisle or Petsmart and get the stuff taht says it has enzymes. There are little creatures in the spray that eat what makes it smell bad, and it will keep the dog from peeing in the same spot again.

They make that "as seen on TV" product called Urine Gone - dumb name, but my local tv station did a consumer test on it on some cat urine in an actual person's home and it worked well. They said the odor elimination was very good.

Gah! i do no longer p.c. to appreciate each little thing approximately everyone! i'm fantastically user-friendly as is (Leo mercury, gemini venus), however if I had to share each little thing with everyone, human beings might see what a degenerate, completely egocentric (shellfish in view that i'm a maximum cancers?), and insecure strategies i actual have. I cover by way of fact i've got self belief like would desire to, with the intention to thrill human beings (and get the failings that i p.c. later). guess it particularly is their situation however! it may well be form of freeing actual. it might make issues lots extra handy for me.

Vinegar and water works, as already noted above. Also, you could try scrubbing with baking soda before you clean with vinegar and water. The baking soda helps to absorb odors
