Hey. G.H.
You have asked this question continuously under the guise of different countries. I have attempted twice to answer you rationally. I even answered your guitar question. Then I read this:
"Am i stupid, AMERICA IS THE FATTEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, FACT AND FATTY AMERICANS SHOULD STAY IN FAT LAND WHERE THEY HAVE ACCES TO MCDONALDS WHICH WILL KEEP THEM IN CONTROL! "
and:
""If we aren't the best country than why do we have all these immigrants", Well lets see, every country has immigrants, and probably the fact that you are situated next to the capital of the world for IMMIGRANTS (Mexico) probably says it all, we have just as much here in the UK and we dont live next to an awful country like that."
and:
"LMAO im jelous, i come from Ireland, where on average we have more GDP income, and have better quality of life, FACT! So in your statement, i come from no poor country, maybe you do, wel you do America, you stick up for aa crappy country because its what you pigs do, i mean look at you , are you homeless, you can't even spell, and yet your calling others poor, maybe your country wants to be the best, but never, your just a fat loudmouth pig with no life, where do you live, shelter for the homeless, yet you still stick up for your crappy country, PATHETIC!"
and:
"Americasn are fat ugly and arrogant pigs, they can stay in their shitt.y country we dont want them spreading their fat disease."
(This in response to the inquirer genuinely asking for help to talk to a suicidal friend).
You're spreading hatred, my friend. Most everyone has given you very kind answers and your response is the reason wars begin. Bring your intolerance to another site. This one will have you reported.

Yes. You should be entitled to your own opinion. No country is the best or should think its the best. That leads to arrogance and lack of apprecition for other cultures.
I am in a similar boat. I like Scotland and although I would never deny that Scotland was the country of my birth, I prefer England as a place to live, particularly East Anglia, especially Norfolk where I spent my formitive years. I loved it and I still do.
But in the present climate of devolution in Scotland liking England is not a 'trendy thing to do at the moment. I don't care cause many of the Scots who critise me, have lived in Scotland all their lives. They don't really appreciate the beauty and history England and Wales has to offer too. We all live on the same Island for God's Sake!!

As an American reguardless of where you are , you are entitled to think whatever it is you want to, just because what one person and what another one says does not mean that you have to agree that is the good thing about agreeing to disagree. Maybe what is keeping you from coming back has nothing to do with what other people think it might be other problems you having, if you are indeed having other problems. I hope whatever decision you make are the decisions you make and not the decisions that other people make for you. You have a mind of your own and know what you want to think, do, feel, be. So obviously you have say over what you think then you realize. Good luck in your decision.

Thank you for saying this. It gives me as a non-American the belief back that there is still a spark of reason in that fine country so far away that I used to love so much as a boy.

That's what is so great about this counrty- you are entitled to your own opinion. If that's how you feel, then express it however you want to. However, my American Government teacher always tells us that the best way to judge a country is not on how many people are trying yo get in, but on how many people are trying to get out!

I dont think England (where im from) is the best. I think its annoying and boring. There isn't a problem with you not liking your country, i dont hate England but i'd prefer somewhere prettier, i cant find anywhere in England thats reletivly pretty. Its up to you, just tell them to shove it.

No, I totally agree with you. Everyone's going to think that their own country is the best, but I mean, come on. They probably just haven't had the chance to educate themselves.

Americans are EXTREMELY patriotic. There's nothing wrong with your feelings and beliefs, but it's not something that I would advertise. Keep these kinds of things to yourself and you'll be fine. Why would you say that to someone anyways? Just to get a reaction?
