When we woke up at her house, i said to her i wanted sex and she said no. Then i'm like ok, and I asked her what she wanted to do today and she said I don't know. So ok, I told her I am going home, since she don't knows. Then outta nowhere, she says she wants time off from the relationship (3 weeks). I asked her why she needed the time off and she said she is stressed with the kids (she's a 3rd grade teacher). This is true because I have overheard her crying to her sister about it at around 4am in the morning while I was sleeping. She also admits that after 3 weeks, we will be going to Las Vegas as planned (already booked) . I know I will feel very awkward not seeing or talking to her for 3 weeks and just suddenly go to Vegas. Please, I need some advice, what is going on? Should I just move on? We have been going out for 3+ years and got engaged last month and I brought her a $6200 dollar ring. I know I screwed up a bit, but why the sudden time off? Is she playing around with me?

I do not want or need time off, she does. and she don't even want to talk to me or see me, so there's nothing that i can do. I have tried, but she insists that she don't want to talk to me.

she's obviously stressed and needs some time to chill and get her head together to decide what she really wants in life. getting engaged is a huge step maybe she hasnt had the time to get her head around it all yet.
i dunno the details but demanding sex off her ?? does this happen often, if it does you mite want to rethink your methods as this kinda thing doesn do it for women.
be patient and give her the space she needs. when you's do get back have a good long chat, find out where you stand and whats what in the relationship. dont be an idiot and give uo on her so easily, you must love her if you want to marry her. and watever you do , DONT SLEEP WITH ANOTHER WOMAN...remember its just a BREAK!!!

I think she is trying to use the time off excuse as a get out of jail free card that way if she does do something while she is gone all she has to say is we took time off. I think u should get your ring back along with ur confidence and hopefully you'll realize u deserve someone who can stand to be without you not with u.

I would give her the benefit of the doubt and give her the time off and let her know if you can help her in any way, to call you. You will have to figure out one day why being around you does not ease her stress.

Its over my brother. It does not sound good when they ask for a break. One of many thing could have happen....She found another man or a boy toy to play with. Some women are just in it for the game like most men. I wish you the best of luck

This is normal... Just give her her space... I know its hard...it doesn't mean she doesn't love you...its just she needs to settle up things...with work, in her mind, etc...

Don't read into this...and let her come to you... If you are already engaged then you have nothing to worry about... She asked for 3 weeks, though it will probably be just one... Just hang in there and what ever you do DO NOT CROWD HER!!! Give her her space...let her call, email, and text you...
Just tell her you are there for her...

Just keep yourself busy... She'll come looking for you...

Good Luck...
