The dentist will usually get to the decay by drilling through the top of your tooth, down and to the side.
Then he will put a tofflemier retainer (a silver band) or a small strip of clear plastic around the tooth to act as a wall. Once he fills the tooth w/ the composite material, he will use a light to harden the material. When the material is hard enough, he takes the silver band off and continues to shape the filled tooth.
Hope this helps!!

Well he is going to Prep the tooth ( or drill ) and get all of the cavity out, since it is in between, when he is filling it he is going to put a ring around the tooth so the filling material doesnt go on the other tooth and to keep them separated so you can floss

Dentist's use drill's to slight enlarge the hole's on the tooth's, then they fill them in with a string of completely unecessary apostrophe's. Check your Dentists grammar by asking his client's about his grammar schools credential's.

With great difficulty.

The dentist will probably clamp your cheeks down.
