By definition atheists do not believe in a God. Period. Therefore they cannot believe in a God concept and still be an atheist.

However just because they do not believe in a God that does not stop them being spiritual, beleiving in ghosts or any other form of after life!

Having a soul is completely different from there being a god. I don't buy either one, but they are separate issues. Some may think that humans have some ability to continue on after death by having your "mind" somehow stay coherent. Doesn't mean the bible is true. In fact I don't see how ghosts fit in with a biblical view at all.

Its an example of descending into superstition via atheism, just as the arch deceiver intended! Eventually it seems you really have to believe in something that approaches the spiritual even if you deny this as an atheist. No Christian who calls himself one will believe in ghosts, because they know the source. What you see is not what it seems at first. Superstitions lead directly to the devil and are encouraged to draw one into the occult dark arts including channeling, ouija boards by which the human will is enticed to be hand itself over to an unknown entity. The danger is real! The more Christian you are, the less superstitious you will be and you will not be concerned with ghosts, etc. or the paranormal which are simple satanic sense "noises" in our environment intended to entice the unwary.
As you can see on TV, there are avowed atheists out there that follow the techniques of voodoo priests/priestesses, etc, occult practicians to see if there is any substance in them, but unwittingly get enslaved to entities they know nothing about!
John Safran vs God showed this in chilling detail not too long ago.
We are descending once again into the age of superstition, this time through empty atheism and the New Age at the ready to tickle their senses once inclined.

I saw a ghost a long time ago. The fact of the matter is that we were drinking and looking to see one. You mind can play tricks on you really easily. So no, I don't believe in ghosts. It was probably just fog or something.

Do I think there are things we don't understand and that people see sometimes--Yes. Do I think that these things are supernatural--No, I just think that people think that way, so that is what they see in their mind.
