This weekend, I saw that there was a big uproar over that penguin movie because it had environmental themes....Shed some light, please?

Some people were taught in their religion years ago that man has total dominion (control) over the whole planet and can do whatever they want. Regardless of result.
Why people think like this still I do not know.

If you are talking about Happy Feet, I don't see how that can be offensive. I know there was a big uproar over a book about gay penguins, but I haven't heard a thing about Happy Feet.

I personally like to see the personification of animals as much as possible in movies because it gives me something to think about when I am eating them. I bet penguins are tasty.

It in no way offends me. Some people just have to complain. I guess their lives are so miserable they must make it that way for everyone else. I think that protecting the environment is wonderful, who gives us the right to ruin the beautiful creations that Allah has created. You would think people would want to save and protect this beautiful world we live in.

I think most ppl have forgotten that mankind's original job was caretaker of this planet. We are SUPPOSED to care for the environment!

Those of us who believe in god know that Jesus will come back and take us to heaven in a few years. Why waste our money taking care of a planet which will be destroyed by Jesus anyway.
