In Islam, the worst person is considered the one who doesn't feed an orphan, or the one who ignores the tears of an orphan.

I'll do some research and post later

Orphans have great rights over other muslims...If a person dies, his family like his brothers, sisters ,parents take care of the children and there is special law for inheritance of property and no one can dare to exploit it ..Allah also strees upon the care of the orphans as well as their property..and there should be a guardian of their peoperty untill they grow up.and get hold of it.and it should be fair guardianship not the corrupted.and whoever do unfair to them ,will receive the worst punishment..thats a promise of Allah.....in order to strengthen them economicaly it is said to give money to them(if ther are in your family) when you want to do some charity instead of giving it to somewhere out but hiddenly so that their honour should not be effected.
Quran 004.002
To orphans restore their property (When they reach their age), nor substitute (your) worthless things for (their) good ones; and devour not their substance (by mixing it up) with your own. For this is indeed a great sin.

Narrated Hisham bin 'Urwa from his father:
who heard Aisha saying, "The Holy Verse; 'Whoever amongst the guardians is rich, he should take no wages (from the property of the orphans) but If he is poor, let him have for himself what is just and reasonable (according to his labors)' (4.6) was revealed concerning the guardian of the orphans who looks after them and manages favorably their financial affairs; If the guardian Is poor, he could have from It what Is just and reasonable, (according to his labors)."
Allah and Muhammad(pbuh) have highlighted the rights of orphans in golden words.

According to Islam, orphans must wear special "Holy Vests" and run into Jewish or Christian establishments where these "Holy Vests" will shine the bright and explosive light of Allah unto all in the area.
