Yes. Nobody has the authority to speak for god.

I am a Christian and I understand exactly what you are saying. I do believe that the judgemental attitude displayed by some Chrstians is a huge turnoff to Christianity. While I do believe that those people who do not repent according to what the scriptures tell us, will burn in Hell, I do believe that this is not how to "bring souls to Jesus". Jesus didn't go around threatening people....He spoke gently and softly, just as he told the prostitute to "Go and sin no more".....

I do believe that most Christians have good intentions, but get carried away in the "Legalistic" doctrine of "Religion" rather than learn to understand what it is like to have a personal relationship with thier Lord and Savior.

Don't be discouraged by the few who may spout off....

Hell( proper definition: the common grave of mankind) So really is that a threat? Everyone that dies will go there.
When someone dies, they are dead.

Ecclesiastes 9:5: "For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten."

I don't think it is very nice to say such things to any one. I don't think a true Christian would talk like that

Philippians 4:8: " Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well spoken of, whatever virtue there is and whatever praiseworthy thing there is, continue considering these things."

Ephesians 4:31 & 32: "Let all malicious bitterness and anger and wrath and screaming and abusive speech be taken away from YOU along with all badness. 32 But become kind to one another, tenderly compassionate, freely forgiving one another just as God also by Christ freely forgave YOU."

Well I think so. I get in these arguments with a friend all the time, she is strickly christian and I have questions. She say unless you have acetped Jesus as your saviour you will go to hell. So I ask what about those people who were raised in a culture with out jesus, like a small isolated tribe in Africa. Since these people havent been exposed the world of christanity, do they go to hell by defult? What sense does that make right?

Also I have a problem with people think that if they are gay they will go to hell as well. So what about those people who were sexually abused by people of the same sex as children and grew up thinking that was the norm, not knowing anything other than same sex sexual activites, do these people go to hell by defualt by someone else taking advatage of them? What about these people?

It would be a threat if there was anything I could do to make it happen.
It is like saying, "do not speed on highway 95, because if you do you will get caught and fined lots of money." If I am not a cop, but merely a concerned friend, then it is not a threat...just a warning.

The same holds true. Whether a person goes to Heaven or Hell is between that person and God. That's it. You and I have no say in whether Charlie goes to Heaven or Hell. We can pray, but it is up to God.

I am a christian, and I do think that, that is bad. reason being is we are supposed to love everyone and not be hateful to others and alot of the time Christians do have the tendency to be hasty when it comes to this subject. In my personal experience it has been a better result when I (as the bible says to) correct and rebuke with great patience and love.
I think it really gets to some people especially when it comes to their loved ones to think that particular family member is not going to heaven. And alot of the time they will try to scare them into getting saved.
The best way to bring your family and friends to Christ is by leading by example, something that alot of Christians and non Christians forget how to do.

YES IT IS!!! And it is not the way to bring people to Christ. It pushes them away. If even turns me off, and I am a Christian. STOP DOING IT. Let people see your life as an example of what following Jesus is about. Love people and be kind. God will judge YOU someday by how many people you turned away. Think about it!

Those people are not Christians, but are just Satan's minions doing charity work for him and bringing more to hell for his pleasure.

These so-called Christians should read the bible and find out that they are not supposed to be doing that at all. Forcing themselves on others is an act of extreme violence.

No the fire and brimstone services are the bomb like at babel or Sodom and Gomorrah and also 40 days and forty nights, they are just trying to tell you to save your soul so you don't suffer the second death which is hell.

Jesus threatens about Hell repeatedly. However, telling someone that they are going to Hell, specifically, is clearly Satanic, as satan is the reason people go to hell.

Um-mm, YES it is terrible. Since no one is perfect, and your sins are between you and your Maker, you are the only one who knows if a 'sin' will send you to hell or not. There are extremists in Christianity too.
