I am considering having hair transplant surgery at some point in the near future & would very much like to know if anyone has had the procedure done in Poland.

The reason I am considering Poland is the obvious one - cost! Surely it has to be cheaper than having it done in London or elsewhere in the UK. But what are the pros and cons? Do the consultants tend to speak English to a high enough standard? What about aftercare? How long would I have to remain in Poland? Is it possible to have a consultation done here in London & send the written report to the clinic in Poland in order to get a price estimate? And above all - are the standards comparable to the UK/US?

I am very interested in hearing from anyone who has undergone the procedure in Poland - or anyone who has left the UK & had the procedure done abroad in order to save on costs.

Please let me know if you have any experiences to share. Many thanks!

I'm going bald and now I just shave my head. Forget hair transplants, wigs, comb overs and other cr@p. When you have a hair transplant, they literally cut out hair follicles from the back of your head and move them to the top. You will have a bunch of tiny little scars shaped like x's all over your scalp. Granted you cannot seem them if you keep your hair long enough to cover them, but it also means you can't cut your hair short with clippers without them being visible. It is a pretty dramatic surgery, and no offense, but I think a person would have to be one vain motherf*cker to undergo that kind of surgery. Pretty much like the chicks do with their breast and face surgeries. Vain and ridiculous. If your bald head makes you feel that bad about yourself though, I guess go ahead and do it.

Hi,
Millions of people all over the world are affected by hair loss, and it's not only the males that suffer this condition as even females are affected by this problem. What's sad is that many of the individuals affected by such a condition end up just accepting what is happening to their hair due to lack of information or options.

If you are looking for natural hair regrowth methods this is a good guide you can read http://hairagain.toptips.org
Hope it helps.

Sweetie, don't you know bald is the new stylish thing? Bald men are hot! Shave your head and embrace it. I guarantee you'll have more female interest than you would with hair transplants...and it's cheaper. Bald guys who try to hang on to their hair are....well...tacky.

There's nothig hotter than a bald guy in a suit. Except maybe a bald man in a military uniform.

No there is no surgery that will give you straight hair. Your hair follicle determines the shape of your hair. If it turns your hair is curly. You have millions of follicles on your scalp, there is nothing that can be done to change the shape of a hair follicle. All you can do is to have it chemically straightened, straighten it everyday, or learn to love your curls. There are many really cute styles for curly hair, if you are tired of straightening it, have your hair cut by someone who understands curly hair, and you may change your mind about your curls. Good Luck

Hair Transplantation surgery has become very common now. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Many patients travel from United States of America and UK to get low cost surgery in India. Indian corporate hospitals are comparable to hospitals anywhere in the world. In fact, India has medical facilities that are comparable with the USA, UK and Canada. India offers World Class Medical Facilities, comparable with any of the western countries. India has state of the art Hospitals and the best medical experts. With the best infrastructure, the best possible Medical facilities, accompanied with the most competitive prices, you can get the treatment done in India at the lowest prices.

Usually, that's too long for me. I consider it depends on the guy and also his face though. Certain guys may pull off long hair and other people can't.
