Still can mean not moving. "I water was calm and still". That means, the water is not moving

Still also means continuing to do something you already started. For exsample, someone might ask you "What are you doing" you would say "I am still studing". Say your friend calls you on the phone and ask "What are you doing" you would say "Cooking". Then she calls you right back and sayd "What are you doing now?" and you would then say "I am still cooking". IN this sense, still points to something you have been doing.

So what would "I am standing still mean"? It means "I am not movie". BUt what does "I am still standing mean"? That means, "I am standing, like i did earlier".

It is a convenient word to express or communicate with people who are alive . You cant say are you still dead can you!!!

Yes when u are dead your is body stiff and still eternally !!

Does that answer the context in which you can use the word .
