I have a cream colored poodle(it doesn't have a poodle cut she has a puppy cut lol) Its a girl what should I name her I was thinking Nikki what do you think sugested welcome

I like the suggestion about saying many names to the dog and letting her pick which one she likes! Or, you could try to see what her personality is and find a name to match. For example, a lazy, even tempered dog could be named Blue. A hyper dog could be named Sparky or something. Maybe the dog reminds you of someone you know in real life or someone you liked in a book or a movie. You could name the after this person. I like the character of Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, so you name the dog Jack, for example.

Well... Nikki sounds like a very good name... I have a dog named Kiara... Wouldn't have gotten that if I hadn't come on here... And mixed 2 answers... But the dog name should be yours to choose... Nikki should suit her just fine...

Go through the names of the dogs on petfinder. (You can even chose poodle for a breed.) They tend to come up with some really great names....

You are the one that has to love the name.
I named my dog Inu-Yasha because the author Rumiko Takahashi is my favorite author, and my dog was born the exact same day that Inu-Yasha first came out.
My friend named his dog Akane.
It takes all types and all names. Be happy with your choice!

We have always named our pets random names like Turtle for our large black cat for instance. Something that doesn't look or seem at all like what you'd expect but something that sticks. Don't name it something to do with a color or something of the same color, it's too Cliche.
