I was in Walmart and was trying to check out via the 'self-check' system and could not make it work. Everyone else was operating it just fine. For some reason I was buying a cart full of frozen vegetables and they defrosted as I toiled with this damned machine. I finally just walked out, leaving the frozen stuff behind. Deep and meaningful?

Hi Delphic,

You are not like everyone else. Just get used to it!

I am serious.

Now build on that comment and do not worry about it. Expect that you have to overcome things, that others do not. Walk away from simple things. You are not here to deal with them.

We have several themes here. Walmart, check out, self-check system, other people, frozen vegetables, walked out, left behind.

Walmart is representative of your town. Your trying to check out represented leaving the town. Self-check system indicates that you will be attempting to leave town via plane, at an airport...using one of the self-check in machines. Everyone else is able to do it just fine but you are having problems with the machine. I sense that you wrote down the confirmation number, but the pen smudged the letters, probably after you put the paper away...the still wet ink. Still wet ink is derived from the frozen-to-defrosted vegetables. You decided to forget the trip and go home.

So in analysis, I would suggest you not let the holiday season put you in a rush. Relax and allow things to come as they will. Otherwise, you'll be writing things down and putting them away in such a hurry that they get messed up. And you don't need that frustration. =)

I'm going to go waaaay out on a limb here, since I don't know whether this applies to you or not, but if you are a single woman, you're probably feeling some anxiety about not being married/having kids yet and having a bunch of friends that are/do. The frozen vegetables represent your youth/looks/fertility and are thawing while you struggle with the machine of dating/relationship issues. Everyone seems to be able to make it happen but you. The last part signals a desire to give up.

If you are married/have kids then perhaps it's something else that other people are more successful at than you that is dependent on time, e.g. finishing school/getting a higher degree/advancing in your career.

dreams might not be an omen of what's to come, but they certainly do have meaning. dreams are symbolic of our emotions. sometimes we don't even know we're experiencing an emotion, it's so deep rooted, that we rely on our dreams to surface those emotions. we need to deal w/ our emotions, not set them aside, or we'll eventually burst! act out of line! jump off a roof, you get the picture. dreams have underlying (often called hidden) meaning(s). i can't analyze your dream, but i can give you an idea of what i think it symbolizes.

are you trying to cope w/ some sort of problem? is there an assignment either at school or work you were given, a task of some sort you can't do/solve? is there a time-limit?

seems you're anxious about a task of some sort, and worried you can't hack it, so to speak. that's why you were fooling around w/ the self-checkout system. the frozen veggies thawed b/c you weren't able to complete the task in time. the fact you gave up says that in your mind, you've already given up or are having doubts. are you worried you can't do this task? that's probably it.

good luck and quit putting so much strain on yourself!!!

Ah, this is my reality! I once got one stuck in spanish and had to get a latino woman help me. I think it represents the fact that you have to get something done in a certain amount of time, (thawing vegetables), but you have to overcome a seemingly impossible challenge (that damned machine). You may feel a desire to give up and lose your "something" (not sure what the vegetables represent) because everyone does it with such ease, and this frustrates you because you do not understand why you can't do it too...

It's a prophecy that WalMart needs more people working the registers this time of year. Amazing! You should start hitting the talk TV circuit!

You can't find a working key to unlock the minds on this sight? You worry that the frozen minds will spoil without your help?

because you are one hot babe and refuse to put up with nonsense that frustrates you. like you walk out on doofus dudes who give you grief or doesn't measure up.

you cannot be blamed for that. if you have it girl, flaunt it and enjoy the good ttimes before you get old and lose some of that "power."

This dream is about the mark of the beast. The mark will be strongly linked to technology. Your refusal to accept the mark, means that you will have a very difficult time acquiring food and necessities.

hmmm...interesting, leaving your food behind isnt good, but on the other hand, not paying for something is good, you see when you pay for something in a dream, it means that you are going to lose money, but u didn't pay, so you should be safe, but i dont get the defrosting part, that's beyond my knowledge...
