Here's a couple easy recipes!!
Basic Jello Shots
3 packages of Jello containing sugar
2 1/2 cups vodka
3 1/3 cups water
Bring the water to a boil and remove from heat. Slowly stir in the Jello until dissolved. Wait 3 minutes, then stir in the vodka.
Pour into individual shot-size cups and freeze.
Watermelon/Coconut
1 package watermelon jell-o
1 cup boiling water
1 cup Malibu® coconut rum
Mix hot water and jello. Add rum. Pour into 2 ounce cups. Serve after the jello has set.
Sour Apple
1 pkg Sour Apple Jello
1 pkg Knox Gelatin
1-2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/4 cup Mountain Dew
2 cups vodka
3/4 cup Captain Morgan Coconut Rum
1 packet True Lemon (optional)
In a microwavable plastic container, mix together Jello, sugar, True Lemon and powdered gelatin well (while still in powdered stage).
Add Mountain Dew; stir well and microwave on high for 1 minute.
Stir well and let sit one minute, then stir in remaining ingredients. Ladle into 3 oz Dixie cups and freeze at least one hour.
Kamikazi
1 package lime Jello
1 package lemon Jello
1 1/2 c. vodka
1/2 c. triple sec
1 c. cold sweet and sour drink mix
1 c. cold water
Bring vodka and triple sec to boiling, stir in both Jello packages until dissolved. Add cold sweet and sour mix and cold water.
Pour into plastic shot glasses and chill.
Soft plastic glasses that will bend instead of break work best for this.

Make it with the strawberry flavoured jello (it is soooo good) and then boil a quarter of the water you would normally use to make a regular jello... then dissolve the hot water with the jello powder... and then put 3/4 vodka (remember 1/4 is hot water and the other 3/4 is the vodka) its stronger... just the way I like it! (remember:do not boil the vodka)
When you've thoroughly mixed all the boiling water with the vodka, put it in little shooters (either the paper ones or plastic ones) I prefer the paper ones cuz you can squeeze it out better. Refridgerate for 2 hours or so and your done... Ta-da... mmm and I make really good Tequilla - pop rock shots too (hahaha Im a nurse by day... bartender by night)

Replace the cold water with about half the amount of liquor you choose, vodka, or some people when doing orange jello shots use warm orange juice and bacardi O or citron. Small cups are hard to slide the jello shots out of, so a good recommendation is to get the plastic condiments cup from a cafeteria, as I do from my college.

Everyone is saying to use half water half vodka, but that won't harden as nice as regular jello. If the box says to use 2 cups water, use 1 1/4 cup water and 3/4 cup liquor.
Last time I made them, I used this ratio and put it in a jelly- roll pan and let it set in the fridge while i made another batch, which i poured over the 1st. It had a cool layering effect. Also you can try tequila with lemon- lime, rum with pineapple and a touch of coconut... Be creative!
PS- a jelly roll pan is like a half sheet but smaller.

Same way you make jello, just replace the cold water with the liquor you want to use. Then pour the jello into little cups! And Enjoy!! :0)

use only half the liquid you normally would, and make half of that alcohol. This makes the gelatin thicker, and easier to eat. If you make it this way, you can actually pick up the shots with your fingers.
So, a normal box of Jell-o says use 2 cups of water - means you want only one cup of liquid total. Mix 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup alcohol (rum or vodka are good), microwave on high for 2-4 minutes until it just starts to boil. Mix in jell-o powder, stir until dissolved. Pour into an ice cube tray or small paper cups, and put in the freezer for 30 minutes. Then, move to the fridge until set.
My fave - Margarita shots. Make lime jell-o with tequila as the alcohol. cut up a lime and put one quarter slice (without peel) into each cup. pour your jell-o on top and let it set. sprinkle salt on top right before you serve them.
another tip - if you use SUGAR FREE Jell-o, it dissolves much easier. no one will notice the flavor with all the alcohol anyway.

Ah...great memories of being on Bourbon street after closing time and buying jello shots through the mail slot of some bar... Anyway, it's not too difficult, and there are lots of recipies on the net. Try them and see what works for you.

The small package of jello calls for 1 cup of boiling water and 1 cup of cold water.
I use 1 1/4 cups of boiling water and 3/4 of a cup of the alcohol........either rum or vodka will work fine.
Let chill, and cover with whipped cream...yummy

It's exactly how you make jello, but substitute half the water in the recipe for vodka
There are some variations here:
