I don't believe they have an official position.

The Church of Scientology doesn't take "a position" on these kinds of issues (including abortion which is a similar issue)

Good and bad are not treated as absolutes , like black or white,
but on a gradient scale in relationship to the 8 Dynamics, These are urges or drives towards survival in 8 different spheres:
Dynamic 1 Self
Dynamic 2 creativity, sex, family unit, rearing of children
Dynamic 3 Groups or as a group, race, etc
Dynamic 4 Mankind
Dynamic 5 All Life forms, including plants, animals, birds etc
Dynamic 6 Physical or Material Universe(Matter Energy Space & Time)
Dynamic 7 Spiritual Universe, spiritual beings, life source.
Dynamic 8 God, Supreme Being, the infinite,or as infinity.

Each individual has these 8 Dynamics, though many only operate on the First or Second.
A good action would be one that benefits or helps the majority
of the 8 Dynamics. A bad or destructive action would be one that harms the majority and benefits the least number.

But this "judgement" is a personal one because ethics is a personal matter under each individuals personal control.
The more an individual becomes aware and able to survive through and embrace the 8 Dynamics the more ethical he becomes. This is one of the purposes and results of the application Scientology technology.

The only valid source for this is Chapter 4 "The Eight Dynamics"
from the basic book " The Fundementals of Thought" by L.Ron Hubbard.

My knowledge comes from 35 years of study and application of Scientology materials and technology.

While this is not something specifically gone over in Scientology, your best bet is probably L. Ron Hubbard's book, Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health. There is a chapter in there called "Prenatal Experience and Birth." There is a later chapter called "Preventive Dianetics." After reading those two chapters, you may want to read "The Cell and the Organism."

None, the business of Scientology is the human spirit not politics. Scientology is apolitical.
