Thousands of people have been killed by hurricanes.

Isn't it about time that we fall to our knees and pray to Posiden, God of the Sea?

Isn't it obvious that Posiden is angry with us and he shows his anger by unleashing massive hurricanes?

Also, If you read the news you will notice that icebergs are melting at an astonishing rate which will cause flooding and enviornmental problems.
Who do you think is causing this??????? That's right......It's Posiden, God of the Sea. Repent, Lest he smite ye with a mighty wave of hellish destruction!

When will you repent and pray for his forgivness?

Please provide evidence to that proves your god is more powerful than Posiden!

whirlwind: Just because your book says your god made the sea doesn't mean it's true. I have ancient greek writings that say Posiden made the sea.

Lets see here now.

Just go down to verse 10 and read. God made the seas.
So, I will stick with the God of creation.....

Genesis 1
1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

6And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

7And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

8And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

9And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

10And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

11And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

This very sentiment existed some 2800 years ago!

"Elijah went before the people and said, "How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal [e.g. Psiden] is God, follow him." (1 Kings 18:21)

Read the rest of the chapter, and see what happened!

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 23:13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

Judges 10:13 Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.

The answer to your question is NO!

from the book of Jonah:

5 Then the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep.

6 So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.....

9 And Jonah said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.....

hey, you call upon Poseidon if you want. won't help. I shall call upon the name of the LORD who made the sea and dry land!!

god bless!!

nah....I'm sticking with my God. our sin is causing the world to go wrong, cos our sin makes us I'm perfect. The Garden of Eden was perfect before sin had entered in there
