she knows me way too well, so i need to come up with a way to surprise her, while still being romantic. doesnt need to be too flashy, but i really just want to surprise her.
all i can think of is to not ask her on the obvious dates... christmas, birthday, vday, new years.... aside from that, i have no idea...

well first of all it depends on what type of person she is my best friends husband told her they were going on a road trip to some where i can't remember but he acted like they got lost and ended up in New York and he had a suite reserved for them and when they got to the suite he proposed.This is an i dea u could use but it takes alot of work planing this if you ask me

Make it a scavenger hunt. Leave clues from place to place until she finally gets to you hinding soemwhere, with the ring. Do it christmas morning . Put the ring in a place and follow her everywhere while she laughs in suspense as she tries to find the next clue then when she finally gets to the ring you kneel and there it is. My fiance did this for me and i loved it. It was fun and i laughed the whole entire time until i cried at the end and said yes. Goodluck!

Well do it one night over a simple dinner at home that way she wont think you are up to something . Or better yet if she works one morning while shes getting ready for work put the ring in the medicine cabbinet in hopes she looks in there and be waiting to see her facial expressionn and dont forget to write the note.......

when she comes home u should have candles and flowers leading her to u with the ring with rosses all around u or u can do a mystery trail write her a love note clue and set like 3 clues and the final note can be on the box with u holding it or on a table full of rose pedddles and candles saying will u make me the happiest man alive will u marry me or u can be holding it or hide out wearing a tuxedo with the ring

Propose to her at someone else's fancy wedding than have all the people at that wedding come to your wedding which, ironically, exceeds the wedding you proposed to her at.
Propose while shopping with her while she picks out clothes and asks you about how she looks in them.

Or do it at a swimmingly well going meeting at with her family...just keep being charming while occasionally overgazing (becuz of all the luv) in her eyes...then eventually propose to her while your both washing the dishes and joking around?
while playing cards (poker) arrange for all your friends to crap out so that its only you and her then put your ring on the table all in with a sucky deck? It'll prepare your for the years of your money she'll be taking from you...all in love though.
Propose while she's sick (you have to really mean it though..bring some Kleenex)

The scavenger hunt at Christmas sounds like a great idea, but I like Jackee's suggestion. Take her to the place y'all first met( or seen each other) or the very first place y'all went out together at. women love it when men remember where the first date was, what we were wearing, etc.. etc..

to make it a surprise you need unusual place but nice and romantic.
Think of a place she likes such as, lake, garden, where you first met, ...
Do it in a place you know that she feels comforted in it
Personally i prefer Pyramids, Ive been there and believe me it seems like there's magical forces works with you .

Well I know that you dont want to do it on a holdiay, but if you did, you could wrap a really big box and when she opens it she will find a smaller one and then a smaller one inside of that. When she goes to the smallest box she will find the ring inside.

well, when my hubby proposed to me, we went to our favorite restaurant, and surprisingly there was no one else there, besides the workers. He says he didn't plan it that way, but it sure helped.
while we were waiting for dessert, he got on one knee and said something about me being so sweet, and wanting to spend the rest of his life with me.
I was so surprised.
She will be surprised, and good luck.

I always like it when the man i love remembers something from when we first met!
Incorporate some old memories in your proposal....like propose to her at the place you guys first met or the place where you guys had your first date. WOMEN love this!
