The chicken is right, for it says right in teh begining of the bible (depends on which version) that God created all animals in there adult form, So therefore the chicken came before the egg. And come on, if the egg came first, what would sit on it an keep it warm..there were no incubators back then! A little common sense and the bible. I was surprised at the response from people I asked in person actually beleived it was the egg. They were wrong.

The chicken..This is the evolutionist problem, God made everything complete and working and there is no physical way to explain that. God still does miracles. Adam was made a adult male and not a baby or raised from a microbe. The earth was working and the light of the sun was here already at creation.

Good gravy train, is science just so mysterious to you relgious nuts who keep quoting scripture? The (yes, unique) correct answer is the egg because the chicken evolved from 'something' else but that first chicken started life as a fertilized egg.
Oh, and just to be clear, the scripture quoting nutjobs are not the person who asked the question but the answers that say "God did thus and so". Please people tell me you're not Americans. Tell me that some other country has this level of wanton ignorance.

THE EGG CAME FIRST. The chicken evolved from something that was not a chicken, but reproduced by laying eggs. At some point that organism evolved to become what we call the modern chicken, and it was hatched from an egg.

The chicken because the first chicken didn't come from an egg but the second one did.

The Chicken. God placed the animals on the earth and then instructed them to go and multiply.
Genesis1:20-22 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
The egg is the product of the hen and the baby chick is the product of the rooster furtilizing that egg while it was still in the hen before she layed it.

The chicken, because it says in genesis (if you go by the Bible) that God made the animals first, not the eggs, so the chickadee came first.

if you are a believer in creation and not evolution than the chicken of course would have come first. Remember Science will always be able to present logical theory for Gods Magnificence.

Eggs. Chickens evolved later, and hatched out of them.
