base pay is the same across the board. the differences come in to play with specialty pays that you can earn, depending on the job you get, and if bonuses are offered. Not every branch offers bonuses for the same career fields, and not every boinus is the same, even within the same branch.
But choosing a job based on how much money you get is the wrong way to do it. You will be committing a minimum of 2 years here, so you better choose based on what you think you will enjoy doing all that time, otherwise, you will be miserable, no matter how much money is in the bank.

It all depends on your skills. If they really want you they will offer you sign up bonuses. But most of them wont give them to you right then. You have to qualify for them. Just join the Marines we dont promise sign up bonuses we offer a chance to be a Marine and that its OORAH!

To tell you the truth, it depends on which recruiter you talk to and which unit you get assigned to. Talk to recruiters from different services and see what they offer. You don't have to commit to anything just to talk to them.
