Sometimes when I drink extra coffee or certain foods it seems the side of my mouth swells enough for me to drag my teeth accross it so as to eventually bite my mouth there when it interferes with my chewing. Is this a food allergy or what? I comes and goes. I would describe this as being in the vee of my chewing area on the outside of my mouth.

It could be oral allergy syndrome, where the mouth tissues react to certain foods. I'd suspect this if you have no other symptoms

If you have any chronic acne, digestive problems, coordination problems, headaches, joint pains, blurry vision, concentration problems, gas, reflux, eczema, rashes, etc. (or even symptoms that are similar to ADD)

Then you may want to look into getting tested for food allergies.
