What a silly myth. I bought my bf a watch for our first xmas and we are still together after 6 years. But, if he believes the myth then don't buy him one.

Hey I've never heard of that saying but i don't believe it for a second (no pun intended!) My boyfriend got me a watch last christmas and i wear it every day, we've had the best year ever! I also got him one for his birthday and he thought it was great. But I suppose if your boyfriend believes in this a watch might not be the best idea for him. Maybe you could choose something else instead! Good luck!
Ps I have no idea what to get my boyf this christmas lol!

it's more a question of personal taste.... You need to casually find out which one he really likes and then buy it.
I would hate to wear a watch I did not choose.

well if he believes in it then he will see it as a bad sign, even though it's just a silly myth.

These kind of beliefs are just being supersticious, but if he believes in it, don't buy him a watch.

My wife has bought me loads of watches, we have been together 12 years. I love watches.
Perhaps if you get him one every so often, it starts the clock again!!!!!
