We gave our cat (after he had been neutered and was well) a little stool (we already had) with a pad on it by the window! We bought the chair pad and put it in front of the window. Then we put bird seed outside the window every day (in your case whenever you want!) and it is like watching his favorite movies! Birds of all kinds fly and jump and perch right in front of him! It's his favorite thing to do when he is stressed out from our puppy! (and the puppy can't reach him) Happy Christmas!

i think that you should chose a present that matches your kittens personality. that way they can enjoy their present more!
here are some examples:
excited kitten: lots of toys.
sleepy kitten: a nice comfy bed or some food.
average kitten: a scratching post or some food.
if you need any other things then you should check out a few cat websites that can give you some pretty good ideas. good luck!

Cat trees are good. We screwed hooks into the shelves on our's so we could hang dangling toys from them. My cat also loved this large, furry mouse that hang from long elastic from the door frame. She would pull it back as far as the cord would go then let it fly. She loved attacking it while it bounced around. She also liked these stuffed toys from Wal-mart shaped like bugs, but they had something that crinkled inside.

Cat nip, play toys and treats :)
I found that my cat liked the most basic toys like the little plain play mice. Also, cat teasers seem to be really popular with most cats :)
Some pet stores have pre-made stockings with cat toys and treats already in them too!

If you want to get her something nice because you fell guilty about having all her girly parts cut out, buy one of those cat houses/gyms made with carpeting. The more guilty you feel, the bigger it needs to be. Then sprinkle catnip all over it and rub it into the carpet well.
Ahhhhhhhhh kitty heaven.

Since its a baby I would say something that makes noise. They love hiding in paper bags. There are toys that are like paper bags. My cats love it. Cat nip is also good. Just watch it with it since they go really crazy.

A female cat will not respond to catnip. Christmas present? How silly. Cats play with anything. I really doubt it will be disappointed whatever you get.

Catnip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really wouldn't get any toys yet cause you don't want to hurt her stitches. I guess when kitty is feeling up 2 par get a cat post that she can go in and out off!!! As well as up and down
