There is an herbal supplement called St-John's Wort. You should read up on it before you take it however as is can be contra-indicated with certain other medicines. It also makes you more sensitive to sunlight so take precautions when outside. Apparently St-John's Wort is what they derive Prozac from, so it can be helpful, but as I said, be very careful. Good luck.

With no prescription I guess there isn't any legal way to get it.Furthermore you do need to get a prescription because they are not all the same and only a doctor can prescribe you the most suitable for you.Don't do it yourself but ask a doctor.

Honestly if you needed it you should have already gone to a psychiatrist. They will perscribe it to you if you need it so all I have to say is no you cannot get these kind of meds over-the-counter because they are considered class A drugs (methamphetamines) if I am not mistaken

My OB/GYN told me that Vitamin B-6 helps with depression, but taken alone I'm not sure how effective it is. I take it along with my Zoloft.
