and Muslims think that the Bible has been twisted by Christians, then how can you ever know what Jesus or any other prophets truly said? You can take nothing the Bible says for truth if it's ALL not true... therefore, nothing but the Quran can be true? So why claim any heritage or belief to anything at all but the Quran?

A few Muslims have posted, but simply have re-iterated what I said. Muslims believe the Bible is Scripture altered by man's hand. Therefore, you do not believe the Bible is truth. Therefore, MY QUESTION IS, why do you believe Jesus was even a prophet? If he was a prophet, what did he say? How can you know, if the Bible is not true? Do you have another account of his words and life, different from the Bible that you believe is unaltered?

Allah state everything clearly in the al Quran... He told us the past stories of other messengers including Maryam (Marie). Even there's a surah was named as Maryam.

In Quran, Allah told us what happened after the death of Prophet Musa (Moses) and what happened to Taurat (the Old Testaments). Allah also told us how Jews clerics altered Taurat.
Same goes to Prophet Isa (Jesus), in Quran, Allah told us clearly about Maryam until the born of Isa.. until Isa was brought to Heaven. Allah also told us that Christians believed that Isa has died.

There are too many true stories inside al Quran. Let me ask you something ?. Did Isa ever considered that he's a God ? Even son of the God ?. The funny thing is, Bible got several translations on Maryam & Isa. Some say that Maryam is a wife of (Yusuf) Joseph, some say that Maryam is not from Joseph and she's the wife of God...

Those things are stated clearly in al Quran, my dear...
Look at al Quran, you can collect all al Quran from every corner of the wolrd, then, you can start to compared them word by word, verse by verse... Then, you may see the truth. The only Holy Book on earth that maintains its originality since the day it reached Earth is only al Quran al Karim. You may check the earliest copies in a museum in Turkey and start comparing with the latest copies now. It's exactly same not like Bibles that being updated across the time.

Jesus is in the quran.....as are all other prophets. God says he has "no begotten son" I for one am not going to call God a liar, would you? Not one word in the Quran has been altered so yes i think it can be considered as true. We believe both the Torah and the Bible where true in there correct time but once the Quran was revealed all other religions where superseded by it. So you see we do believe in the true holy books just not the countless times altered version. Simple.

BECAUSE JESUS IS IN THE QURAN AND HIS STORY IS IN THERE, THAT'S WHY WE BELIEVE IN HIM. IS THAT NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU? WELL TOO BAD. GET OVER IT.

This is one of those never-ending questions that will be asked througout eternity.
Why is ANY religion different from the others??
Maybe because ALL religion is manufactured to suit the PEOPLE that manufactured it!!! If God really was the creator, then why doesn't EVERY culture recognize that???
The ancient Egyptians had their own gods, The Myans had their own, the Incas had their own, native American Indians had their own worship.

Some people have a need to believe in something other than the simple principles of life & death, so they start searching for "something more". They find it in religion.

Now don't get me wrong.....I would fight for everybody's right to believe in what they want......but ANY religion is pretty tough to accept when they are all so different and each one is supposedly the "ONE & ONLY!!

'Tis true, men copied Bible and we make mistakes.
One, little brother, Christians don't twist and lie. Pretenders do.
Two, little one, Muslims can believe all they want but they still believe Jesus was.
There are parts of the Quran that dare to try and be from the Holy Bible.

Actually, you can know the truth and the truth will set you free...

Everybody knows that Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) is unable to read and write. The ques is how come the Holy Quran equrately tell the stories of all the other prophets? Did Christians told him? Well to Christians Muhammad(pbuh) is Their enermy so why would they expose such matter to him?

The Concept is simple to undertand(unlike the TRINITY). God told Angel Gabriel, Angel Gabriel pass it to Propet Muhammad and then he ask his followers to write it down. Muhammad personaly check the Qur'an for any deleted or added verses or words. he comfirm it himself with help of Angel Gabriel.

So to ans your ques where does those information of all the prophets came from? Its from God Almighty Not from Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) as he can't write.

Ps. Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) did not even read any bibles as he can't read.

Muhammed was born almost 600 years after Christ.

Then he tried to re-write history and falsify the teachings of Christ:
Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ...that is hypocisy.

They reject Christ's divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross...
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
Need I say more...?

Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ .

The Bible calls Muhammed a False prophet....
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)

And Christians think Islam was put forth by a twisted person who married a 6 year old girl.

You're never going to make headway in the world with a legacy like that!

Allah says quite clearly in the Quran that the jews and christians recieved revalation, but it was changed my mans hands.

The Family of Imran

1. [3.50] And a verifier of that which is before me of the Taurat and that I may allow you part of that which has been forbidden t you, and I have come to you with a sign from your Lord therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah and obey me.
2. [3.65] O followers of the Book! why do you dispute about Ibrahim, when the Taurat and the Injeel were not revealed till after him; do you not then understand?
3. [3.93] All food was lawful to the children of Israel except that which Israel had forbidden to himself, before the Taurat was revealed. Say: Bring then the Taurat and read it, if you are truthful.

The Dinner Table

1. [5.43] And how do they make you a judge and they have the Taurat wherein is Allah's judgment? Yet they turn back after that, and these are not the believers.
2. [5.44] Surely We revealed the Taurat in which was guidance and light; with it the prophets who submitted themselves (to Allah) judged (matters) for those who were Jews, and the masters of Divine knowledge and the doctors, because they were required to guard (part) of the Book of Allah, and they were witnesses thereof; therefore fear not the people and fear Me, and do not take a small price for My communications; and whoever did not judge by what Allah revealed, those are they that are the unbelievers.
3. [5.46] And We sent after them in their footsteps Isa, son of Marium, verifying what was before him of the Taurat and We gave him the Injeel in which was guidance and light, and verifying what was before it of Taurat and a guidance and an admonition for those who guard (against evil).
4. [5.66] And if they had kept up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which was revealed to them from their Lord, they would certainly have eaten from above them and from beneath their feet there is a party of them keeping to the moderate course, and (as for) most of them, evil is that which they do
5. [5.68] Say: O followers of the Book! you follow no good till you keep up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which is revealed to you from your Lord; and surely that which has been revealed to you from your Lord shall make many of them increase in inordinacy and unbelief; grieve not therefore for the unbelieving people.
6. [5.110] When Allah will say: O Isa son of Marium! Remember My favor on you and on your mother, when I strengthened you I with the holy Spirit, you spoke to the people in the cradle and I when of old age, and when I taught you the Book and the wisdom and the Taurat and the Injeel; and when you determined out of clay a thing like the form of a bird by My permission, then you breathed into it and it became a bird by My permission, and you healed the blind and the leprous by My permission; and when you brought forth the dead by My permission; and when I withheld the children of Israel from you when you came to them with clear arguments, but those who disbelieved among them said: This is nothing but clear enchantment.

The Elevated Places

1. [7.157] Those who follow the Apostle-Prophet, the Ummi, whom they find written down with them in the Taurat and the Injeel (who) enjoins them good and forbids them evil, and makes lawful to them the good things and makes unlawful to them impure things, and removes from them their burden and the shackles which were upon them; so (as for) those who believe in him and honor him and help him, and follow the light which has been sent down with him, these it is that are the successful.

The Immunity

1. [9.111] Surely Allah has bought of the believers their persons and their property for this, that they shall have the garden; they fight in Allah's way, so they slay and are slain; a promise which is binding on Him in the Taurat and the Injeel and the Quran; and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? Rejoice therefore in the pledge which you have made; and that is the mighty achievement.

The Victory

1. [48.29] Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the unbelievers, compassionate among themselves; you will see them bowing down, prostrating themselves, seeking grace from Allah and pleasure; their marks are in their faces because of the effect of prostration; that is their description in the Taurat and their description in the Injeel; like as seed-produce that puts forth its sprout, then strengthens it, so it becomes stout and stands firmly on its stem, delighting the sowers that He may enrage the unbelievers on account of them; Allah has promised those among them who believe and do good, forgiveness and a great reward.

The Ranks

1. [61.6] And when Isa son of Marium said: O children of Israel! surely I am the apostle of Allah to you, verifying that which is before me of the Taurat and giving the good news of an Apostle who will come after me, his name being Ahmad, but when he came to them with clear arguments they said: This is clear magic.

The Congregation

1. [62.5] The likeness of those who were charged with the Taurat, then they did not observe it, is as the likeness of the *** bearing books, evil is the likeness of the people who reject the communications of Allah; and Allah does not guide the unjust people.

The Family of Imran

1. [3.3] He has revealed to you the Book with truth, verifying that which is before it, and He revealed the Tavrat and the Injeel aforetime, a guidance for the people, and He sent the Furqan.
2. [3.48] And He will teach him the Book and the wisdom and the Tavrat and the Injeel.
3. [3.65] O followers of the Book! why do you dispute about Ibrahim, when the Taurat and the Injeel were not revealed till after him; do you not then understand?

The Dinner Table

2. [5.47] And the followers of the Injeel should have judged by what Allah revealed in it; and whoever did not judge by what Allah revealed, those are they that are the transgressors.
3. [5.66] And if they had kept up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which was revealed to them from their Lord, they would certainly have eaten from above them and from beneath their feet there is a party of them keeping to the moderate course, and (as for) most of them, evil is that which they do

The Iron

1. [57.27] Then We made Our apostles to follow in their footsteps, and We sent Isa son of Marium afterwards, and We gave him the Injeel, and We put in the hearts of those who followed him kindness and mercy; and (as for) monkery, they innovated it-- We did not prescribe it to them-- only to seek Allah's pleasure, but they did not observe it with its due observance; so We gave to those of them who believed their reward, and most of them are transgressors.
