He is definitely too young for dog food. Go to the pet store and get some puppy replacement milk formula.
If he can't drink it from a bowl, then buy a bottle also.
I wouldn't give a pup that young any otc meds without a vet's approval.

Take this puppy to the vet NOW. A three week old puppy is too young to be away from its mother and needs milk replacement food---not regular dog food.

Do not feed it anything anyone suggests--Gatorade or pedialyte or any of that stuff---because it will make your puppy sick or kill it.

If this pup is really 3 weeks old, get it to the vet now or the pup could die.

At three weeks he has another three weeks to go before he should even be off of milk. He won't be able to go without help anyway. You have to stimulate him by rubbing his bottom with a cloth just like his mother would. Whoever you got him from should be in jail for letting him leave his mother at that age. What a bunch of idiots. You need to go to your vet and get puppy milk formula and feed him every 2-4 hours including at night. He should also be kept very warm.

try some gatorade or pedialite. I think one of these will do the trick. My dog was the same as a puppy and the pedialite thing worked. Also it is OK to have a 3 week old puppy. Any breeder knows that you wean a puppy from the mother starting at 3 weeks. Try a baby animal bottle and put pedialite in it. Maybe some warm milk in it to. Try soft dog food. They tend to love it when weaning off the mom. Good luck

A three week old puppy should still be with its mother. At that age it wouldn't even have the teeth to eat hard foods.

If you honestly have a 3 week old puppy, you must get it to the veternarian immediatly for care.

This pup cant digest dog food. This is the most crucial times for it to be nursing from the mother. I don't even try to introduce soft food until four weeks. Take it to vet

When I had to bottle feed a litter of 4 Rottweiler puppies (mom tried to KILL them), and one of the puppies got constipated, my vet suggested a Q-tip and petroleum jelly (ask your vet first!)...put jelly on Q-tip and gently insert into anus...roll Q-tip in fingers to lube the anus. My puppy was able to go then. I was feeding puppy milk, not dog food. Try mixing canned puppy food (I used science diet from the vet) and puppy milk. You also may need to "force feed" the first couple of times...Where is MOM? Is the puppy still nursing?

hes much too young for the dry food alone. I would check with a vet, for the pups safety.
