Hook copier / scanner to computer via USB cable .
Command the scan from the computer and option save to desktop or a file.
When emailing, option the ' send attachment' then choose the file with the photo. This may take a few extra seconds as some programs now check the attachment for virus.

You will probably need to install the software that came with your copier.
For example, if you have something like a Canon ir 3200 (which is amultifunction printer, copier and scanner) then you will need to install the Canon ScanGear software.
Once installed, this will find your copier on the network and enable you to save the scanned image file onto your computer.
Once this file is on your computer, you will need some form of email client in order to email it. Use the "attach" button provided in the email client, and select the picture file from your computer.

Does your copier have a scan function? Not all copiers do. If it is not a scanner as well, you cannot do it.
If it does have a built-in scanner, then it depends upon the model of your copier/scanner. If you no longer have the manual, you can probably find it online by going to the website of the maker of your scanner/copier.
Most products have the ability to either scan directly to your computer, which you can then send that as an attachment to an e-mail. Some more advanced machines have an LCD display that will allow you to enter an e-mail address of the recipient and it will be e-mailed directly to them.
Once again, HOW to do this is based upon the make and model of your copier/scanner. You should refer to an owner's manual.

That is only possible if your copier is connected to your computer. What you need is a SCANNER for your computer, which will allow you to scan and email pictures directly.

If your printer is a scanner...lay the picture on the glass... press the scan button and the printer program should to the work. After you've saved it to the computer. Go into your email.....type the body of the email...click on attachment....find the file name the photo is saved in and click attach. You should be all set!
