im getting my braces off today and i need to know do they hurt geting taken off i need to know whats the worst part that hurts wen gettin them taken off or does it hurt and or what is the part that doesnt hurt at all........

When I got mine off, I thought they were just opening the brackets, but they were off already and I didn't even know they were doing it. So no, it doesn't hurt. Just remember to wear your retainer!!!!! I guy I know lost his and didn't tell anyone and he had to get braces again. Congratulations!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That's a big day getting those things off. You'll be licking your teeth for weeks amazed at how smooth they feel!!
As far as I remember, (it's been about 15 years), it doesn't hurt at all getting them off. Maybe some pressure as they yank the brackets loose from the glue on your teeth, but you have nothing to worry about. Yay, you can chew gum and eat doritos again!!

they wont hurt coming off, but you're going to feel like all of your teeth are missing because you are used to feeling your braces on your gums.

the bit that hurts most is probally the polishing after but even that doesnt hurt
