There was no CD rom in the box, I have installed I-Tunes but it wont reconise the ipod to transfer my libary to the ipod - any idea's?

wen u plug in ur ipod and the window asks if u want to replace all songs from this library, u are probably clicking no. click yes.

Well my own and my sons ipods came with CD ROMS and you'll need one to put the ipods serial number in thats on the back of the ipod, i would contact apple and find out for sure !!.

i might shop up for a powerfuble one by way of fact of fact odds are a refurbished isn't gonna very final that long or might have subject concerns faster or later. in case you on the on the spot are no longer susceptible to get an ipod touch or some element cool i might only bypass with a sansa fuze or view as a replace of ipod nano cuz they seem a heck of plenty extra low-value or perhaps with the undeniable fact that fairly stable

even without the Rom it should still at least recognise the ipod. Have a look at the apple website and download the driver that comes on the cd.

restore it by pressing menu and center button for about 5 seconds, then run apple's autoupdater.
