I am going to be in NYC at the Knitting Factory for a concert tonight. Any recommendations for a nice, quiet, romantic, not-too-expensive restaurant to hit up after the show? My Fiancee is a musican & we are from the Philly area & he has been away for 3 weeks, so I am going up to see his show in the city.

Paesano's in Little Italy, on Mulberry & Grand. It's quiet, and the price is right. Anything in midtown is going to be jammed with Christmas tourists and post-theater crowds.

A great site for finding restaurants and clubs in NYC is
www.thrillist.com
It has a locals guide to restaurants, clubs , and cool hang outs. Places where you pay one price for a bottomless wine glass, etc.

El Charro downtown if you like Tapas. Romantic, good food, not too pricey. Google it.
