Store bought foods are much better then fast food. In fact even the "fast foods" in the store are high in fat. Your best bet is to eat chicken and turkey and cook a lot of fresh veggies. Fresh fruit is also good too.

It doesn't matter. The food with the most fat in it has the most fat, whether it is fast food, store bought processed food or store bought fresh food.
This is a good question as we are trained to fear fat but looking around us - Obesity is everywhere low fat diets abound.
A big mac has about 33g of (Unhealthy) fat. A mixedsalad with feta cheese and 3 table spoons of olive oil dressing on it. (healthy fat) has more fat.
Greeks eat more fat in their diets than American mostly from olive oil and have 90% less heart disease then the U.S. Same goes for the thin French.
That said, It is very difficult to buy fast fod or processed food that is nutritionally sound whether it is protein, healthy fat, carbohydrates, proteins, fiber or vitamins.
Simple solution, Eating a wide variety of unprocessed foods is the best way to maintain a healthy diet. Vegetables meat fat fruits etc.

Typically equal amounts of total fats but the types of fats you don't want in your life.
The difference here is that while a supermarket relies on fresh produce a fast food chain relies on stocked goods. In the effort of keeping foods fats used tend to be hydrogenized (an hydrogen is added to the string of fats making it a trans fat usually). While this process helps to make fast food supplies more efficient it adds more saturated fats and trans fats to our diets.
Overall you are more likely to get more LDL than HDL from fast foods. Which equals a situation you don't want to have happen daily.

It depends on what you are ordering/ purchasing. Generally fast food is higher in fat and calories and preservatives. But generally there is little differance if you are eating the same type of items cooked the same way.
