You should ask your doctor.

I do know that taste and smell are closely linked and a loss of smell can greatly diminish the flavor of food. If your taste is merely diminished and not gone you may just need to clear your sinuses. Or you may have something wrong with them that a doctor should treat. Take a decongestant (if you can) and/or an expectorant, use a saline nasal spray, blow your nose, and see your doctor if that doesn't work for you.

thinking what percentage nerve endings are contained in the tastebuds and mouth, it should not be that great of a stretch to imagine that surgical operation and radiotherapy might want to harm or smash a reliable style of them... remedy might want to be nebulous at suited, as damaged style buds do no longer regenerate ok.
