Pride is NOT a virtue that Christians are supposed to have.
Peace, Happiness, Love for our neighbors with and without the faith, and helping others in need are.
Peace and Good Luck!

Sir, may I say that, first of all, most Christians are not very "Proud" or "Conceited" people.
We do not defend every word of our Scriptures like they are the Gospel Truth, so to say.
Kindly try a round with the Muslims if you want to see Conceit, Sir. After all, they have what they claim to be the "flawless" version of the Torah, aka the Muslim version of the Old Testament and the Injeel, aka their version of the New Testaments. You will not be disappointed.
We Christians do not really take the Old Testament as our base as much as we take the Teachings of Jesus Christ, who gave us the Message of Love and Understanding. Please see if you can find fault with His Teachings, Sir, before you accuse us of Pride and Conceit.
Logically, a "Religion" that's just 6,000 years old, like the Old Testament, cannot have the Answers to the Beginning and End of Times. If only two people were truly Created, then that itself was incest and their progeny were also incestuous..
It's been a well known fact that the Great Deluge [aka Flood] was a localized event to that area, probably caused by the melting of the ice caps due to a shift in the Earth's axis, which was seen as a global phenomenon because that was the whole world those people knew of then. In fact, the animals that Noah "saved" were listed rather detailed and they merely constituted the local fauna.
If one were to take, for example, from the Hindu Epics, which were as good as the fiction of the Iliad of Homer and such others, and they attained Scripture Status even though the actual Vedas did not sanction them; because they gave the people an easier method to follow than the highly evolved and Scientific Faith of Vedic Hinduism, that required people to be capable of mathematics accurate to 16 decimal points, that proved that God was not perceivable by physical and intellectual perception ... which caused the belief they now have; then, isn't it possible that there were some lacunae in perception here, too?
Finally, Sir, like I said before, Christianity is an evolving Faith based upon the Teachings of Jesus Christ, not the rest of the books.
Can you find any fault with the Master's Teachings and Wisdom?
Please think over this, Sir.
He taught us Humility, not pride and conceit. Love, not hate and deceit. Understanding, not bigotry and intolerance.
For that, we are Grateful. And if you see our Gratitude as Pride and Conceit, it's not our fault, Sir.
Merry Christmas.

You're beating a dead horse, friend. These questions of yours have been asked SO many times it's not even funny. But I'll answer them anyway.
1. What lies, exactly, are in the Bible? It has been proven REPEATEDLY to be scientifically, historically, archaeologically, and medically correct. Yes, it was written by man. But it was written by many DIFFERENT men.
2. So? It wasn't a sin back then. Adam and Eve were genetically perfect. It makes sense that for a few generations there were absolutely no anomalies or abnormalities as a result of incest. It wasn't until later that incest became a sin.
3. Who said anything about fitting ALL animals onto the ark? When it comes right down to it, he probably would not have put all animals from all environments on the ark. It would have been only one kind of bear, dog, cat, frog, snake, lizard, monkey, and whatever else. Not necessarily German shepherds, pit bulls, polar bears, brown bears, grizzly bears, kimodo dragons, rattlesnakes, Persian cats, leopards, panthers, tigers, Siamese cats, Burmese cats, et cetera.
It's only through evolution that we have so many variances among species now.

1Corinthians 1:31Â that it may be just as it is written: “He that boasts, let him boast in Jehovah.”
I am proud to boast in Jehovah God.
God's arrangement at the beginning was His to make, many generations later he gave the law of no incest to the Israellites.
Because God told Noah how to build it and give it's dimentions. Not every single species of animal on Earth went into the ark.
For starters marine animals were not affected by the flood.
Why doubt the power of God? You heard about the five loaves and two fishes where about 5,000 men, besides women and children, could be fed. The leftover fragments that had then been collected filled 12 baskets. Why would the ark be such a problem?

1. You can fool some of the people some of the time...
2. "yeeeeeeeeehaw- now, lets you jest drop them pants."
3. The shrink-o-matic arc 3000- it zaps em down to size and files them until the floods go away. To re-enlarge, just add water.

Jesus quoted directly from Scripture and his enemies (and Satan) hated it too....I'm glad to see you so unhappy about it.
."PREACH THE WORD, in season and out...reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and doctrine; for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine...but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers telling them what they WANT to hear...." (2Tim.4:2)
