5'8" and 123??? That's a pretty good weight right there. I'm sure that compared to many models that makes you downright plump, but do you really want that "I belong in a Catholic Relief Fund Commercial" look? I know being overweight is probably a bigger problem (I can look in the mirror and see that anytime I want), but at your present height and weight, the stuff you might need to do to take weight off your slender (I'm assuming) frame can also cause health problems. Plus, I have no way of knowing whether you are just thinking about losing this weight, or are obsessed with your weight, but going down that road often leads to eating disorders. And really, you're better off carrying a few extra pounds than having to deal with those problems. (although at 5-8, 123, you're don't exactly have a lot of extra poundage to begin with). I guess what I'm trying to say (very inarticulately) is that weight-wise, you seem to be OK. You could work on your physical conditioning (You know, muscle tone, strength, flexibility, cardio-vascular condition, etc.) and in the process drop a few pounds, but the weight loss would just be a side effect. But don't try to lose any more weight for it's own sake--I think you would be causing more problems than it would be worth.

I would suggest consulting with your doctor. You sound like you are at a healthy weight in my opinion (you weigh 7 pounds less than I do, and are 5 inches taller). Your doctor will tell you what your ideal weight should be based on your age, frame, BMI, activity level and health.
The most important thing is maintaining your health. If you want to be a model, you certainly don't want to end up looking unhealthy from being underweight or malnourished. Good models should always have a healthy appearance above all.

No, I think you should´nt.
Your BMI is 18.7. A healthy weight is between 18.5 - 24.9.
In Spain, are not accepting model with a BMI under 19, so be careful, your weight is just right.
Think for your health.=)

you are already underweight as it is, but if you are very insecure then starve yourself down to a 100 lbs where your bones are showing and that will ensure you get on the runway
