This is not usual hence the question. Usually after boiling chickens the meat stays white. But this chicken gets pink. It tastes OK though. Does anyone has an idea what this happens? Thanks

I am a man so I do not have too much experience in cooking. Are there any expert here?

It's just undercooked. You shouldn't eat chicken while it's pink.

Expect to start to get the 'runs' soon.

The pink color in safely cooked chicken may be due to the hemoglobin in tissues which can form a heat-stable color. A more likely reason is that your chicken was contaminated by nitrites. The chicken is still perfectly safe, the nitrites only affect the colour. They are used in the production of hams for that specific purpose.

It is probably from blood.
