I use Odor Eaters cat litter, you can find it at Petsmart. It works pretty well, even with 2 cats.

the litter is not the problem the food is....

if you also buy the food from Wal Mart you can be sure its low quality - loaded with fillers that are hard on the tummy and result in smelly poop (and more poop)
grocery store foods are the same = crap

cats are TRUE carnivours... I suspect CORN is in one of the top 2 or 3 positions on the bag of food you have, right????
I suspect there isnt even a good meat source in top 3 positions?? A good meat souce is either Chicken Meal, Turkey Meal, or Lamb Meal... BY-Products ARE NOT good meat sources.. they are beaks feet and feathers - hardly digestable at all...

go to a pet supply store and read the lables select a better food.. RICE is ok as second ingredient.. but make sure Meat is #1...

you should have 2 or 3 litter boxes (the rule is 1 per cat + 1 more) use non-scented clumping.. I like PESTELL with BAKING SODA...

IF you feed a better food the cats will actually eat less.. and poop less to so while the food costs more you actually save money

I use Fresh Step scoopable, on the label it says odor eliminating carbon, it's more money but if you scoop at the end of everyday it will last a long time. I also started using a dome w/ a filter and now you can't smell a thing. Also make sure that you're giving them good food, with cheap cat food they seem to eat more, I'm guessing that they can't seem to get the right nutrients so they eat more, if you change that then they'll eat less which means less trips to the litter box.

I have 2 cats myself and the best brand I use is Tidy Cats scoop for multiple cats I also use Febreeze its safe around pets and I spray around the litter box area and that helps out too

I use the scoopable Tidy Cats for Multiple Cats, Long lasting. I've also used the Crystal Blend for my cat and liked that.

If you go to the Tidy Cats website, they have a "Litter Selector" quiz (takes less than 2 minutes) that helps you choose the product which would be best for your individual situation. Good luck!

I use Tidy Cats for Small Spaces for multiple cats, this stuff is awsome. I cannot even usually clean out the litter box because it makes me gag, but this stuff smells great, you dont even really know that you are cleaning a litter box!!

I vote also for tidy cats multiple cats....I'd say it's the best i've found since i've gotten my kitty's...and i would recomment an enclosed litter box...one with a lid and a little vent where u can put a filter! I just got some of those and it made a huge difference!!

tidy scoop for multiple cats i have found is the best...try also to sprinkle baking soda in the litter pan after you have cleaned it that takes the smell out really well. good luck.

Lots of Tidy Cat answers here....but you could also try Fresh Step, I've never had odor problems with that brand.
