for no one knows when death comes calling. would you share and show all the love you have today and forget how to hate if its even letting someone go ahead of you in line at the store or letting someone else have the parking place you were waiting for or give the man some change thats out thetre begging in the cold even saying hi and sharing a smile with someone who is feeling blue you could make a big difference in someones life today a kind word could even safe someone from taking their own life Please learn how to love and forget how to hate.

You make a very good point. My daughter always wants to put change in the little collection boxes at McDonald's and Dollar General, and I let her. She's four. I help elderly ladies and men with their groceries, from bagging them to loading them in their trunk. It's amazing how doing that can make someone smile.
There was a song once by a group called South 65. The name of the song was "Random Acts of Senseless Kindness." It made a lot of good points, but nobody every plays it anymore.

I actually have already done this today, someone accidentally cut me off in traffic, I smiled and waved and they smiled back. I also stopped on my way to work this morning to help someone in an accident instead of driving on by.

What are you trying to sell? You want me to turn the other cheek? NO. You want me to help people who don't deserve it? NO. You want me to give up my station as Seperate and Superior? NO.
Why are you touting this philosophy of mediocracy? Are you, yourself, an un-outstanding person? Are you looking for my charity? It is not present. Are you seeking aid for your allies? It is not forthcoming.
Does it make you feel good to help people? Yes? Then perhaps you are helping them only to experience that proud feeling of self-satisfaction! I feel that same pride, but I get it by NOT helping. I am proud of WICKED acts and SELFISH indulgence.
If everyone were more like you, I WOUD HAVE MORE VICTIMS, and you would all be my willing STOOGES.
