when we have lost the amazon completely the world really will be in a sad state of affairs

Definitely we'd have much less oxygen to breathe!! I couldn't live without the Amazon, it is my favorite documentary material...all those amazing eveolved creatures!! It's an amazing place that I would love to visit one day, they better leave it alone!

Dryer and hotter plus there will be a lot of biodiversity that will be lost.
