Need more info. Friends are so for many reasons. Hopefully common interests and beliefs and hobbies. Have they been there for you through thick and thin? Money and things are incidental and materialistic. What is left when possessions are no longer there? What kind of personality do they have? Do you still wish to be with this person once you take away the benefits. Do you still care about that person no matter their faults?

Not necessarily if you didn't know about your friends benefits at first if you did know then probably yes.

I think the honest answers HAS to vary from person to person - and from "friend to friend" too.
One of my occasional callers does so purely because of a simple, zero-strong sexual relationship. It works for him, it works for me.
Another friend is a friend first and foremost and once in a blue moon we will have a bit of a laugh and a twiddle.
So "varies" I reckon :)

i dont think so, usually you have to be friends first to be friend with benefits... but it might be weird when you arent f-w-b anymore and she wants to just be friends and you will want more....

you can still be regular friends but don't want the responsibility of having to pick up after them etc.... and you are free to date other people etc
